Green Philosophy 716, Inc. (“Green Philosophy 716,” “we,” “us”) operates gp716.com and the online ordering experience on it. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to this website and online orders; it doesn’t cover information collected in our store under New York cannabis regulations, which we handle as the law requires.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact form: your name, email address, subject and message.
• Chat: messages you send and any details you choose to share when you use the budtender chat or AI chat in our online store.
• Online orders and rewards accounts: your name, phone number, email address, date of birth, order history and rewards activity. These are collected and processed by our ordering provider (see “Online ordering” below).
• At pickup: New York law requires us to verify your age and identity with a valid photo ID before completing a sale.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data: pages you visit, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
• Browser storage: we store your answer to our 21+ age check in your browser for 30 days so we don’t ask on every visit. Our ordering system (Carrot) also stores your cart and login in your browser. We don’t use advertising cookies.

How we use information

• To process and prepare your orders and manage your rewards account.
• To respond to questions and messages you send us.
• To comply with New York State cannabis laws and regulations, including age and identity verification and recordkeeping.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.
• To send marketing messages only where you’ve opted in. You can opt out at any time using the link or instructions in the message.
• To protect the security of our site, customers and business.

Online ordering

Our online menu, cart, checkout, rewards program and in-store chat (budtender chat and AI chat) are provided by Carrot, a cannabis e-commerce platform, and payments may be processed by Aeropay. When you order online or create a rewards account, those providers collect and process your information on our behalf and under their own privacy terms. Product information on our pages is loaded from Carrot.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It doesn’t use cookies or track you across other sites, and it doesn’t identify individual visitors. Learn more in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how people use our site and online menu, such as which pages and products are viewed and what goes into carts. It sets cookies (such as _ga) to recognize a returning browser. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on; see also how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

How we share information

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only:

• with service providers who help us run the site and fulfill orders (such as our ordering, payment, hosting, email and analytics providers), who may use it only to provide their services to us;
• with New York State regulators or law enforcement when required by law; and
• to protect our rights, our customers or the public, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, including New York cannabis recordkeeping rules. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect it, consistent with New York’s data security requirements, but no system is completely secure.

Your choices

• You can browse without creating an account.
• You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
• You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to what New York law requires us to keep. Contact us using the details below.

Age requirement

This site is intended only for adults 21 and older. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.

Changes

We may update this policy. We’ll post the new version here and change the “last updated” date.
